CAPACITY OF THE PELLET PLANTS TO BE AWARDED The capacity of the pellet plants will be decided based on capability of the shortlisted vendors. However, NTPC shall be open to accepting torrefied plants starting with capacity of 20 TPD. The smaller sized plants will be with the objective of testing viability of such plants for widespread adoption of technology even at smaller scale. Larger reactors starting with 100 TPD capacity (single or multiple reactors together) will be with the objective ofdeveloping vendors who can serve larger consumers like NTPC. Number of projects to be awarded under eachcategory will be decided after the enlistment.
