The focus is on using stubble, straw, and crop residue from rice paddy as a minimum 50% raw material. The pellets will be used at HPGCL's thermal power plants located in Panipat, Hisar, and Yamuna Nagar. The tender outlines key details as follows:

  1. NIT No.: 38/CE/PLG/Biomass Pellets/ST-391, dated 21.10.2024
  2. Scope of Work: Supply and delivery of 02 Lakh MT agro residue-based torrefied biomass pellets for 1 year, extendable by another year for up to 01 Lakh MT as per HPGCL's requirements.

  5. RGTPP, Khedar, Hisar
